Church Family Camp
at NaCoMe.
If you haven’t been to NaCoMe, you have been missing a treat! NaCoMe has modern cabins with air conditioning, a COLD swimming hole, a creek for crawdad hunting, excellent food, and good fellowship with your Church family!
Thank you to those who spent a hot Saturday in August participating in our Workday at NaCoMe. Our group of twelve, including adults, youth and children, spent the day building twelve tables and eighteen benches. We will all, as a church, benefit from their hard labor when we attend our retreat there next summer.
God’s Creation – God’s Family
Nestled in the Sulphur Creek Valley, near Centerville, TN., NaCoMe Camp & Conference Center was once the home of Beaver Dam Springs Resort. The resort was purchased in 1939 by the Synod of the Presbyterian Church and transformed into what we know today as NaCoMe.
The name, NaCoMe, comes from the three Presbyteries of that time; Nashville, Columbia, & Memphis. The three have since become two: the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee and the Mid-South Presbytery which jointly own NaCoMe.
The modern climate-controlled cabins and various meeting facilities make NaCoMe Camp & Conference Center a year round destination for everyone. Located on the Western Highland Rim, NaCoMe Camp & Conference Center is home to deep hard wood forests, many wildflowers, and of course many wildlife critters. We hope you will come see us soon!
