Presbyterian Women has a strong emphasis on service, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. They provide financial support for local and international projects and also give their time and talents. Past projects have included providing desserts for the Soup Kitchen, collecting funds for “Pennies for Peru/Fellowship of the Least Coin,” and sewing projects for local and national organizations.

Goals

  • Faithfully study God’s word together and individually.
  • Provide care to each member of First Presbyterian Church in their times of distress, illness, hospitalization, or bereavement through the Hospitality Committee receptions, and individual circles.
  • Be faithful, caring, supportive, and nurturing to the needs of all women of our church family. Encourage our new members and inactive members to join a circle, attend a gathering, and assist with a mission project.
  • Provide support and service to meet congregational and community needs of our homebound members, infants and children in local and international missions.
